Desert Oasis

One afternoon I was going for a run in my current city, Hesperia, CA and saw a beautiful location for a photo shoot.  It had a wide open dirt field, tumbleweeds, joshua trees and a beautiful view of the mountains.  While I was running I started planning out this grand, “Desert Inspired Photo Shoot.”  All I needed was a model.  That’s where Christina comes in.  I haven’t known Christina for very long but I always thought of her as quiet and shy.  One hour with her and her inner model and fierceness (anyone else watch ANTM?) came shining through.  At the recommendation of my friend Deb, I really wanted to do a video of what it’s like to be on a photo shoot with me, so Derrick busted out his video camera and we headed to the location I had visited a month before.  When we arrived at the desert location, we found the wide open dirt field covered in flowers!  The Desert Inspired Photo Shoot was now a Meadow Inspired Photo Shoot.  We had a lot of fun running through the meadow and Christina did an AWESOME job modeling!  So without further adieu, here is my very first behind the scenes video of Kimberly April Photography.
