I first started this journey in 2007 when I was a park ranger and realized I spent more time admiring the light filtering through the trees than telling people to follow the rules.

With my husband's support, I quit my job, went back to school and started working at a photography studio in Orange County.

Looking back, I realize there were so many moments that led me in the direction of becoming a wedding photographer.

The countless hours sharing family photo albums with my grandma.

Seeing who could spot the most details in the parking lot with my dad and sister every time we went shopping.

Learning film with my mom's camera and helping my college roommate with her photography homework.

I'm so thankful for the people who have helped me along the way and I am so happy to have found a career that I love.

My name is Kimberly April Roberts and I am a photographer based in Huntington Beach, California. I love the outdoors and specialize in giving my clients a personalized experience filled with love, support and open-mindedness.

Fun Facts About Me

To kick off our wedding week, my husband and I ran in The Color Run. We spent the rest of the week wondering if all of the dye would wash off our skin before our wedding pictures.

My dad is one of my best friends. Father of the Bride speeches get me every single time.

Flowers are one of my favorite things to photograph. Give me a bouquet full of anemone flowers and ranunculus and I'll be in heaven.

My surf crew is one of the few things I'll wake up before surnrise for. Surfing with a group of women is so much fun and I love encouraging each other in and out of the water.

Before I became a wedding photographer, I worked as a park ranger. I'm not afraid of taking the lead when needed and I'll never pose your wedding party in poison oak.

I adore dogs and have two little min pins, Mya & Stitch. If you have a dog in your wedding you can be sure there will be a million pictures of their adorable face.

My niece is my little adventure buddy. Whenever she comes to visit we spend the week kayaking, making s'mores and drinking fancy hot chocolate.
