With it’s Art Deco Architecture and incredible views, Griffith Park is a fun, unique place to take your engagement pictures.
When Jenny, David and I started planning their engagement session, the first thing David said was that he didn’t want a typical engagement session in a field of flowers. He actually used different words, but I totally knew what he meant.
When Jenny suggested the Griffith Park Observatory, we all agreed it would be the perfect location for their engagement pictures.
I met up with Jenny and David in L.A. and we ran all around the observatory, stopping anywhere that looked like a fun spot to take pictures.
I loved how this Art Deco door brought out the green in Jenny’s eyes.
One of the important parts about having an engagement session is finding out what poses do and don’t work for you. A pose that looks great on camera, might feel a bit awkward.
Or you could make it awkward (and hilarious) by adding your own commentary like David did when he leaned into Jenny and said something along the lines of, “Hey baby, my dad owns a car dealership.”
With a storm quickly approaching, we finished up Jenny and David’s Engagement Session with just enough time to make it to our cars before it started pouring.
